Sigma Chi Fraternity
Lambda Eta Chapter
Friendship, Justice and Learning Bryant University, EST. May 1st, 2010.
Giving back to the community, it's what we do.
What makes Sigma Chi different from other organizations is that we have a strong desire to give back to the community and to the people who are hurting the most.

The Lambda Eta chapter at Bryant University focuses heavily on giving back to our community. We impress ourselves each year with the amount of community service hours our chapter combines to get each semester. Some of our most active brothers will have more than 100 hours on their own. In the fall of 2021, the Lambda Eta chapter targeted 1000 communal hours as a total for the semester and we did that, and more. We had over 1300 hours combined with the addition of the Omega class. This semester, we are going to match that 1300 combined hours and try to go above and beyond. We will be working with non-profits, Bryant clubs, and other Greek life communities to have successful events that raise a lot of money for people in need. It is impossible for just a couple of brothers to do the work themselves as our whole chapter needs to and will come together to make our community the best it has ever been.

Although Huntsman Cancer Institute is our main and national philanthropy, the brothers of Sigma Chi do not just stop there. We strive everyday to raise money for the causes the hit us closest it our hearts. We want to be able to help wherever we can.

As well as our own philanthropy, the Lambda Eta Chapter is passionate about contributing to other philanthropic efforts around campus. Above is a picture of our collaboration with Delta Zeta to raise money for The Starkey Hearing Foundation, an organization to raise money for children with hearing disabilities
